Position Summary: As an Advisory Service Consultant (ASC) you provide sales and marketing support to a Regional Vice President (RVP) working within an assigned territory. Furthermore, you would be responsible for driving sales and building relationships with financial advisors over the phone. An ASC must maintain a high level of knowledge regarding BTS products and have the ability to distinguish these products from competitors.

Essential Functions: The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:

• ASCs’ are responsible for making follow up and proactive sales calls within an assigned territory to maintain existing relationships and establish new relationships with advisors.
• Provide information and support in response to incoming calls from the financial advisors in the assigned territory regarding sales questions, marketing materials, and technical information regarding the BTS strategies.
• Work closely with the assigned RVP to execute their business plan and drive sales in the assigned territory.
• Have at least ten advisor conversations a day, and 40 outbound dials.

Required Knowledge and Skills
Education/Experience:

• Must obtain a Series 6 and 63 and 65 Securities License within 6 months of hire.
• College degree, preferred.
• 2 years experience in the financial services industry, preferred.

Skills:

• Effectively maintain organization, monitor action items, and ensure assigned tasks have appropriate follow up.
• Display highly efficient organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously as well as meeting required timelines.
• Strong administrative skills combined with sales and service orientation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Works well in a team environment.
